Cooling fan speed and influencing factors

Hits:122 Pub Time:2023-07-13

The speed of the cooling fan refers to the number of revolutions per minute of the fan blades, measured in RPM. A speed measuring instrument refers to a measuring tool used to measure the speed of an object, usually using a digital display measuring instrument, as shown in the figure:

The working principle of the cooling fan. When the cooling fan is working, it mainly converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. The main principle is that when supplying power to the cooling fan, there is current flowing through the fan coil. According to the right-hand rule of amperes, we know that a magnetic field will be generated around the coil, and a pre filled rubber magnet is attached to the inside of the cooling fan blade. The magnetic field generated by the conductor and the fixed magnetic field generate attraction and repulsion force. When the attraction and repulsion force is greater than the static friction force of the fan (the friction force of the fan bearing, the wind resistance of the fan blade rotation), the fan blade naturally rotates. The voltage of the DC fan power supply is fixed, and it is necessary to use Hall sensing components as synchronous detection devices to control a set of circuits, so that the two sets of coils wrapped around the axis rotate to generate different magnetic fields.
